About Disc Jockeys Unlimited
Welcome to Disc Jockeys Unlimited, one of Ontario’s longest-running mobile DJ and event entertainment companies, proudly serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area since 1963.
My name is Ivan Lapalme, Owner, Lead DJ, and Master of Ceremonies. My journey with DJU began in 2004 when I joined the company as an associate DJ under Michael Gerecht, who successfully led the company for nearly three decades. After more than a decade performing at weddings, corporate events, school functions, fundraisers, and private celebrations throughout the GTA, I proudly purchased the company in September 2016 and have continued its tradition of professional entertainment ever since.
Over the course of my career, I have personally performed at well over 1,000 weddings and special events. Those experiences have taught me that every celebration is unique, and that great entertainment is about much more than simply playing music. It’s about creating an atmosphere, reading the crowd, engaging guests, and helping create memories that last a lifetime.
More Than Just Music
At Disc Jockeys Unlimited, we believe every event deserves a personalized approach. Whether you’re planning an elegant wedding reception, a corporate gala, a school dance, a mitzvah, a fundraiser, a birthday party, or a private celebration, we take the time to understand your vision and help bring it to life.
From professional DJ services and Master of Ceremonies expertise to crowd engagement, event coordination, and personalized music programming, our goal is to ensure your guests have an unforgettable experience from the first song to the last dance.
Trusted Experience You Can Count On
Disc Jockeys Unlimited is proud to be an approved On-Site Activity Provider with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB), reflecting our commitment to professionalism, reliability, and creating safe, enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages.
